The capital of The Bahamas is Nassau. It is a city full of activity as it sits next to one of Bahamas’s main ports. Nassau is Bahamas’ nucleus for all government, tourist and financial activities. Though, more importantly, Nassau is the home of Bahamas’ main airport – Lynden Pindling International Airport (IATA code: NAS). The airport is a mere nine miles away from the center of the Nassau and is identified as one of the airports in the Caribbean with the most traffic, with over three million travelers every year.
The airport is coined after Bahamas’ first Prime Minister, Sir Lynden O. Pindling. The praiseworthy airport provides service to twenty-four airline companies with travel destinations the USA, Canada, Europe and all over the Caribbean. A great feat for a small Bahamas Airport.

Although Lynden Pindling International Airport is a bit small it does well for a Nassau airport.
